Nabídky pro studenty

Nabídka stipendia na Grand Valley State University

My name is Professor Joseph Iannelli and I serve as the director of the School of Engineering at Grand Valley State University.

With this e-mail message to you today, I would like to inform you about a full scholarship opportunity for Czech Engineering students to study for a Master’s degree in the United States in my university,

http://www.gvsu.edu/engineer-graduate/ http://www.vpix.net/index.php?tour=7479

The scholarship lasts for up to two years. It covers all tuition fees and also provides a monthly stipend.

This scholarship is sponsored by the Shape company, a global leader in impact energy management systems.

In particular, this scholarship is reserved for Czech students because the company has a branch in the Czech republic, in Plzen.

The company wishes to expose Czech students to its operations in the Unites States and hopes that when these students return to the Czech Republic they may be very interested in working for the company in Plzen.

A special detail of this opportunity is that the Shape corporation would like to begin a program of funding Czech engineering students over many years, so every one or two years there would be new scholarship opportunities.

I should be grateful if you would please let me know if you have qualified students who would like to study for a Master’s degree in Engineering in the United States. They may apply online at https://secure.gvsu.edu/admissions/graduate/apply-index.htm

Grand Valley State University is situated in Grand Rapids, in west Michigan, near beautiful Lake Michigan and Chicago, and our region possesses a thriving industrial economy. The following sites provide additional information about Grand Rapids, the region, and the state.

Grand Valley State University, www.gvsu.edu is a comprehensive, four-year public institution with its main campus located in Allendale, Michigan and its Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids campus just 15 miles away. The university has established a reputation for preparing its more than 24,500 students to excel in virtually every field. The university’s focus on individual student achievement has created unique undergraduate and graduate learning opportunities that integrate sound education with extensive professional practice and attract top students from across the country and around the world.

In June 2012, my School of Engineering has been recognized as one of only 29 programs in the US as an exemplar of Real World Education by the United States National Academy of Engineering. In my school, students study in the Kennedy Hall of Engineering and Keller Engineering Laboratories. These new state-of-the-art facilities provide over 10,000 square meters of classrooms and industrial-grade engineering laboratories where my students study Biomedical, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, and Product Design & Manufacturing Engineering and complete three semesters of co-operative education in engineering companies.

Of course, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about this special opportunity. I would also be willing to travel to the Czech Republic to present this opportunity to you in person. I was born in Europe myself and so I am familiar with our culture, traditions, and academies.

Thank you so very much for your consideration and I hope to hear from you.

Sincerely yours,

Joseph Iannelli
